Delete Your Account

You can delete your MotoHeads account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what gets deleted, and how long it takes. It applies to the MotoHeads app and website at https://motoheads.in.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
The quickest way to delete your account:
- Open the MotoHeads app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Once you confirm, we permanently delete your account and associated data. This action cannot be undone.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
You can also request deletion by emailing support@motoheads.in from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We verify that the request comes from your registered email before actioning it, to protect your account.
What is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:
- your account and login details;
- your profile, including name/username, city/state, motorcycle details, riding experience, blood group and emergency contact, and profile photo;
- your posts, and the photos and videos you uploaded (removed from our storage);
- your comments and messages;
- your crew and sub-group memberships;
- your expenses.
What may be retained, and why
Some information may be retained briefly for legal, security, and backup purposes, typically for up to 30 days, after which it is permanently purged from our systems and backups. We may retain limited records for longer only where the law requires it.
Content you shared that is inseparable from other members' experience (for example, a message in a group conversation) may remain visible to others in anonymised or attributed form, but is disassociated from your deleted profile.
How long it takes
We action account-deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. In most cases deletion is completed sooner. Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone, and you would need to create a new account to use MotoHeads again.
