Rider Safety, Liability & Community Guidelines

MotoHeads exists to bring riders together. Riding is what we love, but it carries real risk. This page explains how safety and responsibility work on our platform, and the rules every member agrees to follow. Please read it carefully.

1. Assumption of risk

By using MotoHeads and by taking part in any ride planned or discovered through it, you acknowledge and accept the risks of motorcycling and agree that you do so voluntarily and at your own responsibility.

2. MotoHeads is a platform, not a ride organizer

MotoHeads provides tools for riders to connect, form crews, and plan rides. We do not:

• organize, lead, or supervise any ride or event;
• vet, verify, or background-check any rider, crew, or organizer;
• inspect motorcycles or confirm licences, insurance, or fitness to ride; or
• endorse or guarantee any ride, route, or member.

When a member creates or leads a ride, that person acts as an independent organizer, not as an agent of MotoHeads. Any responsibilities of organizing a ride, including route safety, group briefing, and compliance with the law, rest entirely with the users involved.

3. Ride responsibly

Before and during any ride, we strongly recommend that you:

• hold a valid driving licence for your motorcycle;
• carry valid vehicle insurance and keep your documents in order;
• wear proper safety gear, including a certified helmet, at all times;
• ensure your motorcycle is roadworthy and well maintained;
• obey all traffic laws, speed limits, and local regulations;
• never ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs; and
• ride within your own skill level and the conditions of the road.

4. Emergency, SOS, blood group and emergency contact features

MotoHeads offers optional safety aids such as storing your blood group and emergency contact, and SOS/emergency features. These are provided to help in difficult moments, but:

5. Community Guidelines

MotoHeads is a shared space. To keep it welcoming and safe, all members must follow these guidelines. They apply to posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, crew names, and profiles.

What is not allowed

• Harassment and bullying — no threats, stalking, targeted abuse, or intimidation of any member.
• Hate speech — no content that attacks or demeans people based on religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar.
• Spam and scams — no repetitive, misleading, or fraudulent content, and no unsolicited commercial promotion.
• Nudity and sexual content — no pornography or sexually explicit material. Any content that sexualises minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities (see our Child Safety Standards).
• Illegal or dangerous content — no content promoting illegal activity, reckless or dangerous riding, stunts on public roads, or breaking traffic law.
• Impersonation and misinformation — do not pretend to be someone else or spread deliberately false information.

Reporting and blocking

If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, use the in-app Report button available on posts, comments, chat messages, and profiles. You can also block any member: a blocked member cannot contact you, see your content, or interact with it (for example, they cannot like or comment on your posts). For concerns or to report a member, you can email complaint@motoheads.in.

Enforcement

We review reports and may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these guidelines or our Terms of Service. Serious violations, including anything involving child safety, may be reported to law enforcement.
