MOTOHEADS

The group ride app built for Indian riding crews ๐Ÿ๏ธ

Planning a group ride on WhatsApp means 200 messages, no real headcount, someone lost after the toll booth, and "bhai, kitna hua?" on Monday. MotoHeads puts the whole ride in one free app.

๐Ÿ“ Live group map

Everyone on the ride on one map, for up to 8 hours, even with the phone in a pocket. The sweep always knows where the last rider is.

โœ… Ride plans with RSVP

Route, date and meeting point in one place. Riders tap Going or Can't go, so you get a real headcount instead of "maybe".

๐Ÿ’ธ UPI cost split

Split fuel, food, tolls and stays fairly. Everyone sees what they owe and settles over UPI.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Private crews & sub-crews

One crew per club, a sub-crew per ride or chapter, crew chat, media and km & badges.

How a group ride works on MotoHeads

  1. Create your crew in 2 minutes and share one invite link in your WhatsApp group. Riders join with a tap.
  2. Plan the ride: route, date, meeting point. Riders RSVP. Riding with other clubs? Make it an open event.
  3. Ride day: start the live map. Lead, marshal and sweep can all see the whole group, and family can follow from a watch link.
  4. After the ride: split fuel and food over UPI, look back at the route, log the km, earn badges.

MotoHeads vs WhatsApp live location vs Google Maps sharing

Most crews start with WhatsApp live location or Google Maps sharing. Both are fine tools for one person telling another where they are. Here is what each one does when you need live location for a bike group.

For two riders on a short run, WhatsApp live location is enough, and Google Maps sharing works well for letting one person at home see where you are. MotoHeads is a riding crew app for when the whole group rides together: one plan, one map, one chat and one settle-up for the ride.

Who it's for

Weekend breakfast-ride crews, Royal Enfield and KTM owners' groups, women rider communities, touring clubs doing Spiti or Ladakh, and college riding clubs. Any group that rides together.

FAQ

Is MotoHeads free?

Yes. MotoHeads is free to download and use: crews, rides and events, the live map, ride chat, RSVP, UPI cost split, the family watch link and ride history.

Does MotoHeads work on iPhone?

There is no App Store app yet. iPhone riders can use the web app at https://motoheads.in/web in Safari and join the same crews and rides as Android riders. In the browser, your location is shared while MotoHeads is open on screen.

Can family follow the ride without the app?

Yes. From the live map, share a watch link. Family open it in any browser and see the riders who are sharing their location, on a map, with no app or sign-in.

Does the live map work with the phone in my pocket?

Yes, on the Android app. Once you start sharing, it keeps running in the background for the time you pick, from 30 minutes up to 8 hours, and you can stop any time.

Does it drain the battery?

Sharing uses your phone's GPS, so it uses battery the way a navigation app does. You choose how long to share and can stop any time. On long rides, keep the phone on a charger.

How do riders join my crew?

Share your crew's invite link in your WhatsApp group. Riders tap it to join. If you have switched on admin approval, you approve each request first.

Can riders from other crews join our ride?

Yes. Create an open event instead of a crew ride. Riders from any crew can find it and join, either instantly or after the organiser approves.
